Things that get on my nerves

#1. Ok... so.. The 4th Of July is on Monday. So why are they having fireworks on Saturday? I hate when people celebrate something before the actual date. You don't celebrate Christmas on the 24th... Christmas is on the 25th. I've been in families that liked to celebrate on the 24th so they could rest on the 25th. Rest from what? What in the hell are you going to do on a day when everything.. including Walmart.. is closed? Go to a movie maybe? Oh yeah.. thats real taxing.
If you are going to participate in a pagan holiday ... do it correctly.
Halloween is always on the 31st of October. Why celebrate it on a Saturday because Halloween happens to fall on a Sunday or Monday? It's a pagan holiday.. who cares if it's on a Sunday? and Thanksgiving.. yeah.. same Thursday every November. And if you have 2 families to go to... why not do breakfast and supper. Spread it out. It's called "Compromise" ... LOOK IT UP.
Ok. so... Celebrate holidays on the correct damn date people.

#2. Do people not realize that if they have a Jesus fish, or a Jesus tag (for ex the one I seen yesterday... TOGODIO ...) on their car we expect them to act a certain way? Cutting me off in traffic while I can hear your Hip Hop music over mine is NOT the way a Christian should act. And if you cursed me b/c I was in your way.. yeah.. way to go. I've seen so many "Jesus" things on cars (tags especially) and heard more black people say "Have a Blessed Day" since moving to Memphis that I want to puke. And yes, I did say black people. I lived in a town of over 40 thousand white people. Just white people. No one (even the ones I went to church with) said Have a Blessed Day. And when you asked them how they were they did NOT respond "I'm blessed." I guess it gets on my nerves because I automatically assume that everyone is fake/posers/closet agnostics. I've seen to many "Christians" act like asses to believe barely a word that escapes from someone's mouth who claims to be a Christian.
What I'm talking about is NOT the differences in beliefs (to drink or not to drink, to wear pants or not to wear pants). I'm talking about how you act, how you treat people, how you talk, how you drive, how you co-exist with friends, family & co-workers. Things that are the same regardless of the religion.
I believe if you talk it you should walk it.
#3. That I get the hiccups every single (hiccup) day at work. WTF? Do you know how hard it is to get rid of the hiccups when you are constantly talking on the phone because your co-workers (hiccup) took vacation and there are calls in queue and no one to answer the phone? And how much harder it is (hiccup) to control the hiccups so as NOT to hiccup on a customer's ear? *rolling my eyes* Totally (hiccup) on my nerves.
To be continued...
