Whine Bitch Moan

So I've sat at work all day today completely depressed and disappointed because I'm not going to FL. I guess I was looking forward to it more than I thought. I've never been on a vacation with just my girlfriends and knew it would be a blast.

However.. the plans have totally changed. Per my conversation with Theresa today "We're going to drop the kids off in Mobile and then just drive down the coast and try to find a hotel on "a" beach."

Now I love my friends like they're my sisters but there is no way in HELL I'm going to be traipsing (broke) all over the coast in search of a hotel on the beach. We're talking Gulf Shores, Destin, FL etc. And who's to say that they'll even find one. I'm not 18 any more and that just doesn't sound like fun. Mind you a few years ago I'd have been all for it, but I really don't like not knowing where I'm going to sleep. Especially since the Dr has told me he's pretty damn sure I have sleep apnea and I don't sleep well at night as it is. Can you imagine me trying to sleep in the back of a durango.. or in one of the seats... Ok .. so I've done it before but I was much younger and a lot healthier. I guess getting old makes ya boring. God, I never thought I'd get to this point in my life. A few years ago I'd have thrown caution to the wind and went with them. Now I just don't think I'd have a good time. And as bad as I need a vacation.. it's not a vacation if I have to worry about something (anything) while I'm gone.

To Theresa & Shannon (even though Theresa doesn't read my blog) ... I love you, and please be careful and have fun for me while you are gone. Oh.. and bring me some seashells. And no complaining about your sunburn when you get back! Lol Lol
