Birthday Party Info:

Well..it was definitely a much quieter affair than the birthdays past since moving to Memphis. Usually at some point in the night I end up wasted. This time I ended up just being very tired and in the bed early. Lol.

My friend Tracy and her wife Chris planned a Lu'au for me since I've a new love for the beach and all things vacation. ha! She decorated her back yard with fishys and tiki torches and they were both dressed so cute. Tracy in a black bathing suit with a blue sarong and Chris in a red, hawaiian print shirt. Very, very cute.

We had enough food to feed a small army and boy did we eat it. Tracy makes this awesome dip stuff with hamburger meat, cheese, refried beans, etc. that goes so well with fritos (I ate TOO much of that). Gosh I can't even remember what all the food was. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs on the grill. Grandma's pickles (YUM).. etc.
It was all very good and I kept eating.. and eating. haha.

Jason & Theresa came bearing food and gift as well. Jason made his infamous Sin Pie (omg it's fab) and Theresa made baked beans (Yes.. she cooked hahaha). They also got me a bottle of Tequila Rose that I intend to put to good use very soon.

Tracy & Chris got me a shot glass while on their travels to Myrtle Beach so I'll be using that as well. It's totally cute!

Rayanne came too bearing gift. She got me a Green Tea set: lotion, soap etc. I can't wait to try that out!!!

Shannon came bearing the (and I quote) "Smallest gift ever".. and tater chips and a Sprite for me!! Lol. Of course considering the money she put out for the vacation she didn't and shouldn't have (although I love it) brought anything. She got me a toe ring with 3 daisies on it. And my fave flower? Daisies!!!!

And of course my baby was there. He already spent enough money on me so he didn't have to bring any more gifts!! I love you Larry!

Honestly, I'm so very grateful for my friends and the fact they think enough of me to not only throw a party, but to bring gifts. Which I always tell 'em they don't have to.

Thank you Tracy & Chris for spending the money & time to put together a very awesome, cute, fab lu'au (where everyone got lei'd by Chris..haha) for my birthday. I love you and it meant so much to me!!!!!

Jason, Theresa, Rayanne, Shannon - Thank you for coming to my party.. and for bring food and gifts. I love you all!!

It was a very quiet affair.. alot of eating, story telling, boasting, laughing, more story telling, more laughing...

I was asleep in the truck before we got home I swear. I was exhausted. I believe we got home around 12:15 - 12:30 am. Usually we would be at a bar somewhere getting our drink on.

I must be getting old...
