Normalcy at Christmas

Yesterday I baked & decorated cookies with (one of) Larry's sister(s) and 7 year old niece. (Sandra .. his oldest sister.. said she wasn't in the mood to do any of that stuff). It was a bonding moment if ever there was. It also was the most normal Christmas thing I've done in years. Almost, but not quite, got me in the Christmas mood. It was, however, very nice. Makes me miss the fact that we'll never have children to destroy the kitchen with making cookies, brownies and fudge. Can you miss something you don't have? Yes.. you certainly can.
