3rd place
Talk about an interesting race. Tony Stewart was taken to the ER. Kyle Busch threw his hans device at Casey Mears. I found this on Nascar.com and just "HAD" to repost it.
...Kurt's toss of his HANS device in Casey Mears' general direction ranks right up there.
I realize that Kyle was being hampered by track officials and what not, but if you're mad enough, you break through and go all Robby Gordon on Mears. You don't toss a safety device like that guy from accounting that plays right field for the company softball team with the career .002 fielding percentage. You really should go read about Elliott Sadler's dive off the stage and his interim trip to the medics. http://www.nascar.com/2006/news/opinion/05/29/we_wonder_600/index.html
Anyway, I digress.
As I was stating.. it was an interesting race. Carl spun once and kept control of the car and never hit anything. There were arguments with his spotter and crew chief. Complaints of the car handling like shit. The tires chattering as he slowly gained on the leader. I'll spare you Non-Nascar loving folks the details and just say.. my man came in 3rd at Charlotte. After the night he had... that was pretty awesome!
