Do you ever have those days when you get a few minutes all to yourself and your freakin' mind won't stop... thinking? yeah well.. welcome to my hell. At least there's a plethora of subjects to keep one's mind busy with... all sorts of emotions.. happiness, humor, anger, humor, exasperation, anxiety... So whilst thinking today I thought about what I'd like to be doing in 10 years. Seems like a long time but it's not really (think back to where YOU were just 10 years ago... yeeahh.. you were doing that!). So in order to be where I want to be in 10 years I gotta start working on it now. And hopefully it'll come along swifter and smooth.
As most of you know I love to cook. If I could afford culinary school I'd so be there. One of my dreams for years has been to own my own restaurant. So I sit on my back porch swing... wind is ripping thru my hair (literally.. like 3o mph)... I sit back, relax, drink my drink and take a puff. I get to thinking about how I could do it... own my own restaurant and I realize I have access to some of the most talented, driven, artistic, humble, loyal and wonderful friends who could all be a part of it with me. How you ask? Well .... Gary & James help as backers. Theresa in HR. Lori as Mgr over bartenders. Dustin PR/Marketing. AJ help design restaurant. Rob help design kitchen. Tim keeps the money. Tracy F. Sous chef, Jason Sous Chef. Chris G. as General Manager. Larry & Chris M. as IT. Jon Jon.. You gotta stay in the healthcare field love .. we'll need you there! Shannon as Hostess. Alfonso head of security/valet. Let's see I'm missing some positions. Anyway.. those were just the ones that came to me. No I dont expect you all to do it with me.. Lol. I just meant... It's amazing to me what a wonderfully diverse group of friends & good acquaintances I have.
