My birthday....
Every year for my birthday my friends all pile into the restaurant of our choosing and we chat, drink & party until we're ready to go clubbing. Then we hit Beale Street (or wherever) and party the night away. Since I moved to Memphis in 1999 I've done this every year but 1. (That year was a "private party".. hehehe). Last year was fun at the restaurant, but the club part kinda flopped. So... I need suggestions from everyone as to what to do for my birthday this year.
I have a nice big back yard that the dog uses for a toilet (that's its only use) and a house big enough to hold 25 people (not enough chairs for that though), but I'm also broke and can't afford anything huge. Depending on how much notice I give everyone there is always over 20 people who show up. Can you imagine trying to feed that many ppl? And the alcohol? I'd have to sell the house.
No, I'm not saying my friends are alcoholics. Lmao.
I love my birthday because it means I've lived another year. This year I'll be 35 and I'd really like to do something fun.
Some things about me:
I love to laugh and music is always on at work, in the car or at home. I have a huge personality and love to make my friends laugh (huh Theresa?). I love my family and friends more than anything. I live with my sexy boyfriend, our 2 cats & 1 dog. No kids (whooohooo). I am head strong, stubborn (am I repeating myself?), open minded, musically gifted in the fact I can sing and play the radio. I am a Leo. Boy am I a Leo. I love being the center of attention (as known by all my friends and the free comedy shows I've put on. Lol) I like sports alright enough, and drink on the occasion. (or no occasion. Lol)

P.S.
I might add that I live in the country and most ppl do not like driving to my house. I don't know that I necessarily want to have a party there, but it is an option. I need suggestions for things to do, where to go (if not at my house), how to decorate (if it is or no), dress, costumes?, etc.

So um your birthday is four months away? Wow, you're really something of a planner :)
Four months -- well I think that gives you time to "flush" the doggie's toilet and get it respectable for your friends to CAMP out in your backyard. Remind them it's a BYOB&SleepingBag&Tent party. You're just providing a place to crash. Oh yeah and the reason to celebrate :)
Stock the bar parties always keep the alchohol cost, though by the end of night the bar still ends up just about as empty as it started. Honey, the club part flopped because you didn't invite me!
